I am Spela Hernandez, a Licensed Esthetician and the Founder and Formulator of Spalina Skin Care. Originally from Europe with a degree in engineering, I’ve spent more than 20 years working hands-on with skin and developing an approach that looks beyond what we simply see on the surface.

After years of working with multiple professional skincare lines, I realized I didn’t want to piece together protocols from five different brands or simply mask what I was seeing. I wanted a cohesive system that supported the way I believe skin should be treated. That vision became Spalina Skin Care, a professional line customized around my treatment philosophy and designed to support the work we do in the treatment room with intentional, consistent home care.

Today, my work is especially focused on women navigating perimenopause and menopause, something I understand both professionally and personally. At 50, after experiencing my own hormonal transition for more than a decade, I’ve seen firsthand how dramatically skin can change during this chapter. Inflammation, sensitivity, a compromised barrier, breakouts, dryness and accelerated signs of aging require more than another trending product. They require understanding, strategy and consistency.

When you work with me, you’re not simply given products. You’re given a plan. I educate you on how your skin functions, why it may be behaving differently and what we’re going to do about it. I believe the most meaningful transformations happen when we stop guessing, simplify the noise and commit to one clear protocol.
